Method: Use this tutorial to create a basketball player in your own likeness. You can be creative with your color choices.
Turn in: Once you finish, save both an uncompressed .AI and a compressed .PNG file into your Illustrator folder and post the .PNG file to your blog with an explanation of the project steps, what tools you used, and what issues you had to overcome.
Objective: Develop a solid understanding of the core features available in Maya and learn its User Interface (UI) and how to navigate within the three-dimensional space.
Method: Use the “Getting Started with Maya” Unit of this online tutorial titled Maya 2018 Fundamentals to discern the Maya UI and gain an understanding of how to navigate the space, create projects, and perform functions using some of Maya’s core tools. Do not work onto the Basic Modeling unit.
Turn In: Use the snipping tool to captures images of you working along with the video. Explain what you have learned while following along with the tutorial.
